Bexhill has become an early provider of Extended Services ( orginally known as 'Extended Schools') for children and families in the town, and all the schools are committed to providing this.
Bexhill Extended Services aims to work with parents, pupils and local partners to provide activities according to the needs of the community.
Specific areas include:
- Childcare in term time and holidays for children aged 5-11 at various venues
- Activities for children after school and in the holidays
- Family Learning, including study support and parenting courses
- Access to Specialist Services including children's mental health, speech and language development. These services are usually accessed through individual schools.
- Community Use of Facilities,

make their own arrangements about this.

You can ask to speak to your PIC (Parent Information Contact) at your local school, who can give you infomation about services and activities and who will also signpost you to childcare providers.
