Many activities are offered for children and young people in a variety of venues around the Town:

  • Activities such as the Egerton Park Programme have a varying programme every summer and occasionally at other times.

    Sidley Young Peoples Centre currently supports 110 young people 11-19 years –Open 4 evenings per week, offering various services and resources for young people.

    Fantastic fitness, sport and leisure facilities for the whole community can be found at the Bexhill Leisure Centre.


    Master Sport

    Master Sport specialises in providing sports and play activities to local communities with a particular focus on children, people with disabilities and the over 55s.

    Sports Leaders UK is working in partnership with a number of organisations
     across the south east region to build capacity for Sports Leadership within the community.


    RDC Leisure Team

    Rother District Council provides a wide range of support to Sports, Arts and Museums across the Rother District.

     

    Hastings and Bexhill RFC

    Learn to play rugby with Hastings and Bexhill RFC. The clubs junior section is one of the largest in Sussex and has mixed teams from minis to colts


    Glenco Youth FC

    Training sessions are held at various times, days and locations for Boys and Girls aged 5 to 15 years. .


    East Sussex Martial Arts School

    Established in 2001 the East Sussex School of Martial Arts provides courses to suit all age ranges and abilities.

    Bexhill Shotokan Karate Club

    Operates in the Bexhill Leisure Centre.


    Bexhill AA Judo Club

    Judo is unique in that all age groups, both sexes, and most disabled persons can participate together in learning and practising the sport.

    Bexhill Swimming Club

    The basic teaching group is called THE MINNOWS where the main aim is to give non-swimmers basic water confidence and a feeling of moving in water.They then progress to the next stage.


    1066 Swimmers

    1066 swimmers was established in 1991 and is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association to promote competitive swimming in a friendly supportive environment.

    Theatre Sense is a musical theatre club with Saturday morning branches in Westfield, Little Common & Robertsbridge aimed predominantly at children within the Rother District.

    Uniformed Organisations

     

    Voluntary uniformed organisations like Brownies, Guides, Cubs and Scouts meet regularly during term time. They often offer Camps and Activity breaks during school holidays.

    The largest uniformed organisation in the UK. Offering a programme of activities for girls from 4 to adult. Groups meet throughout Bexhill and Rother.
